Halotestin (fluoxymesterone) is an extremely powerful steroid available in tablet form. Most often, halotestin is used to increase training aggression, muscle density and strength without a large increase in muscle mass. Halotestin is popular weight lifters as well as endurance sports (sprinters, fighters). For medical purposes, this steroid has been used to treat delayed puberty, male hypogonadism, and breast cancer in women. To date, halotestin is not used for medical applications.
Halotest steroid profile
- Anabolic effect – 1900% of testosterone.
- Androgenic effect – 850% of testosterone.
- Conversion rate to estrogen – no aromatization.
- High liver toxicity.
- Suppresses HPTA.
- Duration of action – up to 9 hours.
- The detection time for doping control is up to 2 months.
In its chemical structure, halotestin is similar to methyltestosterone, but it is approximately five times more potent than the latter.
Fluoxymesterone is a chemically modified testosterone in three positions:
9-fluorogroup. Increasing the androgenic effect of the drug by reducing the reduction in the 5-alpha position (the formation of dihydrotestosterone). 9-fluorogroup is found in small amounts in human blood. This active form of fluoxymesterone binds much more strongly to testosterone androgen receptors in muscle tissue and organs.
11-beta hydroxy group. Prevention of enzymatic conversion of the molecule through the attachment of aromatic rings, that is, prevention of conversion to estrogens. Also, the 11-beta-hydroxy group is credited with blocking prolactin and estrogen receptors, that is, preventing the occurrence of edema, excess body fat and gynecomastia.
17-alpha-methyl group. Prolongation of the half-life of the drug when administered orally, maintaining the concentration of the active substance in the blood and preventing destruction during the first passage through the liver.
The action of fluoxymesterone
Increasing the hardness of the muscles and relief.
A slight increase in muscle mass is possible (especially with prolonged use).
Stimulation of hemoglobin synthesis (increase in endurance). Taking Fluoxymesterone helps to increase the oxygen mass of the blood. The body produces more red blood cells, more oxygen is supplied to the muscles. Productivity increases, acidification decreases.
Reduction of body fat. Studies have shown that Halotestin accelerates the oxidation of fatty acids in fast muscle fibers. However, weight loss is never the main goal of taking Fluoxymesterone due to its high toxicity. The effect is rather minor.
How to take Halotestin
The cycle of Fluoxymesterone is most often used just before the competition. The optimal dosage of the steroid is 10 milligrams per day, the borderline is 20 mg. Halotestin is advisable for short-term aggression and speed-strength indicators. As for how to take Halotestin in combination with other AAS, there are no special indications here. it is taken in conjunction with any form of testosterone. The use of this steroid is not recommended for women.
Given the high rate of formation of dihydrotestosterone, side effects from Fluoxymesterone are as follows: adenoma and hyperplasia of the prostate, an increase in the likelihood of developing cancer. The steroid is very powerful and toxic to the liver. Experimental studies have established that Halotestin is 19 times superior to testosterone in its anabolic effect, and 8.5 in androgenic. Before taking this steroid you should a specialist. It is extremely important not to overestimate the dosage and then the side effects will be reduced to nothing.
