How to take
Inside, (during or after meals) – 50-75 mg (25 mg in 2-3 doses), gradually increasing the dose by 25-50 mg until the desired antidepressant effect is obtained. The optimal therapeutic dose is 150-200 mg / day (the maximum part of the dose is taken at night). In severe depression resistant to therapy, the dose is increased to 300 mg or more – to the maximum tolerable . After receiving a persistent antidepressant effect after 2–4 weeks, the dose is gradually and slowly reduced (in case of signs of depression, it is necessary to prescribe the same doses).
In elderly patients with mild disorders – 25-100 mg, in 2-3 doses or 1 time per day (at night).
Children over 6 years of age with enuresis – 12.5–25 mg before bedtime (maximum dose – 2.5 mg / kg).
For the prevention of migraine, with chronic pain of a neurogenic nature (including prolonged headaches) – 12.5-100 mg / day.
In the absence of improvement in the patient’s condition within 3-4 weeks of treatment, the treatment tactics should be revised.
